Kentucky Derby Museum: D. Wayne Lukas Exhibit

This exhibit tells the inspiring story of legendary horse trainer D. Wayne Lukas, showcasing his remarkable journey from humble beginnings to becoming a titan in horse racing. The centerpiece is a life-sized replica barn, painted in his signature white and green, which serves as a striking focal point for visitors. Adjacent to the barn is an impressive 30-foot display case that showcases a collection of his countless trophies, celebrating his many victories and achievements. Wall graphics detail key milestones in Lukas’s life, complemented by interactives and videos featuring interviews and highlights from his time on the track. My role encompassed exhibit and interactive design, and production management. I collaborated closely with Solid Light and local vendors to ensure every detail contributed to a cohesive and engaging experience for all guests who visit.
