Kentucky Derby Museum: Bill Shoemaker Exhibit

This exhibit celebrates the life and enduring legacy of Bill Shoemaker, one of the most iconic figures in horse racing history. At its heart is an interactive timeline that highlights his numerous accomplishments and milestones, providing visitors with a comprehensive view of his career. Accompanying this timeline are personal artifacts, including memorabilia and photographs, offering a glimpse into Shoemaker’s life both on and off the racetrack. A standout feature is the 180° immersive jockey experience, which allows visitors to feel the thrill of riding along the Churchill Downs track, giving them a unique perspective of his experiences as a jockey. My responsibilities included exhibit design, and production management. Once again partnering with Solid Light and local vendors, we worked diligently to ensure that every aspect of the exhibit came together seamlessly, creating an immersive and unforgettable experience.
