Kentucky Derby Museum: Hermitage Farm Education Center

The Education Center at the Kentucky Museum was in need of a significant upgrade, and we seized the opportunity to transform the space with invaluable support from Steve Wilson and Hermitage Farm. The new design is thoughtfully crafted to foster learning about Churchill Downs and horse racing, creating an engaging environment specifically for students. At the heart of the transformation are seven glass-covered exhibit cases, each designed to captivate and inform young minds. These cases are filled with colorful infographics and carefully curated artifacts that highlight various aspects of horse racing, making the learning experience both visually appealing and interactive. I managed both the exhibit design and production management, collaborating closely with local vendors to ensure the project came to life seamlessly. The result is an inviting and dynamic educational space that inspires curiosity and a deeper understanding of the rich history of horse racing.
